Too funny! I’ve been “the mute” - going to a meeting about some complex financial amendments to a number of internal systems (I’d inherited one) only to discover that “my” system wasn’t on their amendment list and the correct meeting was actually next door!
Ah, Captain Tangent, how many times I’ve played that role. The fun part is when you’re dealing with another IT guy who has no clue what we’re talking about so you have to go on the tanget.

Maintaining the project is just as much fun, managing what was initially set out in requirements and trying to keep feature creep / scope creep in check with change management.
